Our Mission

To provide safe, affordable, supportive, high quality child care for working parents and/or parents who are pursuing their education in the Roanoke Valley. Northwest Child Development Center provides a nurturing environment and school-readiness activities which promotes social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development for children ages 6 months to 12 years.

Northwest Child Development Center, Inc. is a private, non-profit corporation governed by a Board of Directors. Since it’s beginning on March 1, 1983, the Center’s mission has been to ensure the availability of quality, affordable, child care services specifically, but not exclusively, for low to moderate income families of the Roanoke Valley.
